A big shout out to volunteers from Northern Trust who today swapped their phones and keyboards for wheelbarrows and shovels - kindly lent to us by Foreman Tom of Albert College Park! They dug out the tired, decades-old soil from our school planters, carefully put aside any plants and bulbs worth keeping and refilled each trough with fresh topsoil. What would have taken us many months to complete was done in half a day - with excellent humour and admirable vigour! We can't wait for our #agriaware Incredible Edibles planting programme to begin!
